Libs have no place in foreign Policy

The 9/11 commission released their final report this week.
It is on sale everywhere. I had a chance to read some of it earlier(a friend's copy).I just went and got my own copy today.$10.00 at Hastings.
What I got from it was a whole lot of the truth and a lot less spin than I thought might be evident. It is, after all, the product of one of the most politicized Senate committee gatherings in history. So you can imagine my initial skepticism.
It is not, however, completely void of partisan politics. I know a lot of people could call me politically biased(mostly because I am),but when it comes to a commission that in a round about way is a congressional oversight
committee in the guise of a bipartisan Senate select committee, in order to skirt the separation of Congress and the White House.(you know ...Congress can't do investigation into the internal workings of the President....or vise-verse) I think the agenda is obvious.
I believe the most compelling finding in the report was the glossing over of the incident in which Pres. Clinton considers the capture of Bin Laden to be a criminal matter. Before joining the Taliban, Bin Laden was implemented in the attack on the USS Cole, the bombing of our embassies in Kenya,Egypt and Tanzania, the Khobar Towers in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia and the '93 attack on the World Trade center! Bin Laden tried to join with Iran,Iraq and many others before his Exile to Afghanistan brought him to the Taliban.
This is my beef with Clinton; He was morally corrupt, and should have never had the reigns of the country in such a pivotal time in World History. By getting tied up in these Scandals- Paula Jones,Monica,Flowers,File gate, etc. Clinton made decisions regarding our Nation's security that ,had he not been caught up in a massive "CYA" operation, his attention could have been on the capture of such international criminals. He slyly denies the opportunity to catch Bin Laddin, But if you remember back in 2002 I wrote an article on this. I said back then that that is just more proof of the fact that the Left has no business in Foreign Policy. You cannot look at international terrorism with a criminal Attorney's perspective. They must be fought toe to toe and be confronted with force not Judges. Clinton signed a deal with the International World Court at the Hague "ICC" right before he left office. This agreement would have given the "World Court" (a UN brain-child) oversight authority in the trials of terrorists and war criminals captured by the US. Putting the creeps like Zawahiri ,Mohammed Atwah,Abu musab al Zarqawi, and even Bin Ladden in the hands of corrupt international Judges! This kind of leadership is dangerous to our survival.
The 911 Report also indicates that Bush had miss opportunities too. However, They are questionable to me. It is my assertion that when Bush took over office after Clinton he prob. afforded most of his resources to fix and mend the way America dealt with these kind of things. It was Bush who as soon as he took office knew we had to pull out of the ICC deal. Had he wanted to appease the UN and left that in place, we would be fighting a whole different war today.
Bottom line..... Clinton was offered Bin Ladden before he attacked the US on our soil, and did not take him. Regardless of his Jihadd against America, and regardless of his involvement in these attacks on our soverienty. If you don't deal with these guys when you have a chance it is sign of weakness to them, and in their eyes it is better to be dead than to be weak!

Transcript of Clinton's speech on the Sudan's offer of Bin Laden (Before 9/11)
" Mr. Bin laden use to live in Sudan, He was expelled from Saudi Arabia in '91, then he went to the Sudan, and when it was apparent the Sudanese wanted America to start dealing with them again.......They released him. At the time ,'96,He had committed no crime against America so I didn't want to bring him here because we had no basis on which to hold him, though we knew he wanted to commit crimes against America. So I pleaded with the Saudis to take him,'cuz they could have; But they thought he was a hot potatoe, and they didn't,and so that's how he ended up in Afghanistan. " - Bill Clinton, 2002
