Subway joins with Michael Moore promoting Anti-American sentiment in Germany !

Frontiers of Freedom...."Why is SUBWAY telling Germans that our collective rear ends are too big and our brains too small to realize it – while making a mockery of our most recognizable icon of freedom and fellowship in the process? Debasing American symbols and stirring the pot of anti-American sentiment in Europe just to sell more sandwiches is a new low in corporate behavior."

Amis is a derogatory name for Americans

I'm not quite ready yet to throw Subway under the bus. I am however curious to see how this thing plays out. If it turns out that the "911" inference is true I don't think I can give them another penny.
We've seen this before with the Dixie Chics, Susan Sarandon,Woopie, Sean Penn etc. The left has very little tact and even less respect for the Country they call home.
I can not imagine what makes a citizen of this great country, go in to socially and diplomatically opposing lands at a time when we are at war, and spew this hatred for America. The freedom and opportunity this country provides these fools, is exploited for fame and monetary gain.
The bottom line is that the anti-American sentiment that is expressed by this promotional program and the movie that sponsors it, greatly increases the risk to our soldiers. The enemy is not only emboldened by the message this kind of treasonous material fronts, but it is also a great boost to the recruitment and morale of our enemy. If all of the George Soros,
527 contributors and anti War left would denounce these people and show support for America, it would have the opposite effect. Then those who oppose us would find themselves alone in a world united and in clear opposition to Terrorism. They would see their continuity and structure collapse.
I'm not bothered by the "Fat Americans" thing, because let's face it, I have donned a Rather round shape lately. I am upset at the implication made suggesting that the Anti-American movie "Fahrenheit 911" or any movie in it's category is
" Eye opening", lending credibility to it's anti-American slander...... Ken

Translation of Subway Tray-liner--Germany
Michael Moore quote:
The only time I have been scared/frightened for my life has been going through a McDonald's drive-thru.
Trayliner text:
Why are Americans so fat?
In the Michael Moore tradition, New York filmmaker Morgan Spurlock does some deep questioning and self experiments for 30 days on products from the world’s largest fast food company.
Astounding revelations…scary liver levels and horrifying blood levels that would cause any doctor the highest degree of alarm.
In this top satire, which won the prize for best direction from Sundance 2004, Spurlock explores the questions of responsibility between big business and consumers, and the big money which contributes to this “Fast Food” culture, and how to make Americans healthy again. An ironic hit into the stomach that is enriched by fat and facts behind this dubious mega industry.
Passage near Statue of Liberty:
You care about what you eat and everything isn’t equal? Then you shouldn’t miss this film about foolish intake. It will open your eyes.
