A look ahead

I am so glad and THANK GOD that Kerry was beaten as handedly as he was. Now Nancy Pelosi will probably take Tom Daschle spot as House Minority leader and Hillary and John Edwards will gear up to go head to head in the Democratic Primaries in 2008. I think we will see history made that year though.
In '08 We will see the Rookie Barack Obama (
the League of women backer ) Democrat from Illinois run in the primaries and have a great chance to win. On the Republican side we have Rudy Giuliani likely to run against John McCain, JC Watts, and
Alan Keyes .
Obama and Keyes are both black and then we have Hilary, so there is a greater chance to see a woman or an African American in the White House than ever before. Strangely enough I would probably vote for the Democrat Obama. He is actually the closest to a true conservative in the whole pool of candidates, even though he's a Democrat. I used to like Alan Keyes until he used slavery reparations for his stump in his race for Senate against Obama. He is other wise very conservative, but if a black man is going to gain the highest position in the land, he should not support something that is against basic conservative values. Slavery reparations would only be deleterious to the African American social society. It reaffirms beliefs that white Americans are so superior to Black Americans that the Black man needs to rely on the government to build him up. It also feeds the entitlement mentality that keeps so many black youths from being driven enough to achieve what's needed to succeed in life. The damage is detrimental to the African American race.
I have faith that Hilary will not win in '08, because I think we will see the Democrat Party ( due to their openly Liberal stature costing them both of the last elections) go 'incognito' as a more conservative leaning party, they will likely run Obama and support him to win.
Although we can look deep into the future and predict and pontificate, it is important that we don't lose sight of what we have in our lap today.
Domestic policy: We have the ability to have as many as 4 morally sound Supreme Court justices appointed, we have a greater majority in the House and Senate, and the power to implement and reinforce Christian, Conservative values in America. This will be an easier 4 years for Bush in that aspect. We will also see social security reform. People who will be in the wake of the baby boomers, will see their SSI benefits reduced to slim to none. Bush will start a program that instead of taking money from your check for SSI and Social Security, it will take thea smaller portion of the money and and allow you to put it in a put it in your own market savings (retirement) fund. This will allow for economic growth in the Senior Citizen sector, and it will give perpetual innaculations to our market.
Foreign policy: The best news to come from non-American politics today is the confirmation of the afghan President Hamid Karzai. I have confidence and faith in the progress of this fledgling Democracy.
The recent kissy kissy job done by Germany and Russia (post election) will see Russia honestly come to the table, and don't count on Germany anytime soon. I believe we will see the war on Muslim extremists intensify and I think that when Arafat finally kicks the bucket we will see one of two things. Palestine will either have a benevolent leader that works with Israel to establish a Palestinian state ( still a mistake in the long run), or a greater lunatic takes over . Palestine will ramp up terrorism with Israel and we (America) will be forced to side with Sharon. A siding that could see the war ( World War III) we are in now, ignite into a global struggle. America will prevail, but at a great cost. Whether or not it is Palestine, Iran, N. Korea, or Syria the War is destined to become inflamed. It is for this reason we were meant to have Bush in charge! Once again I have to say, THANK YOU GOD for that gift.
