Seventeen Resolutions and Twelve years later, Bush did not need to fix intel. to get our support to oust Saddam !

The Democrats are using the Downing Street memo, Abu Ghraib and Gitmo to call for Bush's impeachment.

I first heard about this Memo last week on Wednsday June 1st. I have hesitated to chime in on this for a week, mainly because I know that this is just more reaching by a far left Democratic party gone mad. Now, however, it is Tuesday May 7th and I still have not seen the Mainstream Media ( other than Fox) pick up on this. I believe it is because they know how bad this will hurt the Democrat's chances in '06 and '08 when this turns belly up.

It would seem John 'Franswa' Kerry is still suffering the effects of losing a race he just knew, in all his arrogance, he would win. Since none of these lies have stuck in the past, he is willing to throw anything he can at Bush, regardless of the outcome.

Kerry is relying on the fraction of misled Americans ( the ones he misled) who already believe Bush rushed to war with Iraq, to support him in this. Believe me though, MARK MY WORDS, this is going to blow up in Kerry's face and the harm done to the Democrats will dwarf the damage done by the idiocy espoused by Howard Dean and The Village Witch Mrs. Clinton. They are hoping that the memo and these stories will sway enough Senators to vote to impeach him.

You see there was a memo drafted in 2002 by Tony Blair's Foreign Policy Aide Matthew Rycroft. It was later named 'The Downing Street Memo'. It was the minutes of a meeting between British and American officials that was leaked to the London Times. It purports that Blair stated that Bush had prior intentions to attack Iraq, and would create Intel that supported his attacking them. Last week some soggy cracker US Senators sent this letter to the President demanding that he own up to it if it is true.

Ralph Nader and tons of Liberal Blogs have called for Bush's impeachment, and John Kerry promised to bring it before the Senate this past Monday. He said, 'I think it's a stunning, unbelievably simple and understandable statement of the truth and a profoundly important document that raises stunning issues here at home.' He added, "When I go back to Washington on Monday, I am going to raise the issue." Of course he wants to bring this up. Just like Rathergate, the Dems know that it does not matter if the charge is legitimate, it only matters that the charge be made. Good propaganda needs no substantiation, it need only be presented to raise suspicion in the minds of the populous.

This memo is a paper tiger. Kerry knows that, he is just hoping it will be enough to sway votes in the up-coming elections. This memo will be proven to be the farce that it is and the only thing that will be accomplished will be the undermining of the war effort and further emboldening of the terrorists who are killing our soldiers and innocent Iraqis. As always, the Dems are willing to chance that to get a punch in on America's President. Just remember, when the Main Stream Leftist Media finally comes out with this, and they will, The Downing street memo does not quote Bush or Blair. It was written before Bush went to the UN and US Congress.

Do you remember resolution 1441? It passed the UN Security Council unanimously. As for the actual reasons to go to war, they were legitimate. So why would this memo be worth more than toilet paper? There is proof that Iraq had and used Chemical Weapons. Saddam breeched the no fire agreement and he was in violation of UN resolutions. Saddam was dealing weopons to Terrorists and funding their training with Oil for Food money. Remember also that this was first picked up on by Micheal Moore and Ralph Nader. I mean, all we need is Micheal Jackson and we would have the top three freaks on Earth supporting this.

Today Tony Blair met with President Bush about our Aid to Africa. While there he was asked about the Downing Street memo, and he muscled the ball out of the park, "Well, I can respond to that very easily. No, the facts were not being fixed in any shape or form at all. And let me remind you that that memorandum was written before we then went to the United Nations. Now, no one knows more intimately the discussions that we were conducting as two countries at the time than me. And the fact is we decided to go to the United Nations and went through that process, which resulted in the November 2002 United Nations resolution, to give a final chance to Saddam Hussein to comply with international law. He didn’t do so. And that was the reason why we had to take military action. " Well said Tony !

No one, and I mean NO ONE can use this memo to prove nefarious intentions by Bush. Republicans need not worry about the outcome of this, Democrats however might want to tread lightly though. It is here that they will officially tie themselves with Michael Moore and the fringe Left. It is here that they risk implosion!

One finnal note, do you remember "The Iraqi Liberation Act of 1998" signed by Bill Clinton?
H.R. 4655 law that was signed into effect October 31,1998 and Declares that it should be the policy of the United States to seek to remove the Saddam Hussein regime from power in Iraq and to replace it with a democratic government. It does'nt seem Bush needed more than this to launch operation Iraqi Freedom!
