NOT GUILTY? The question that is on most sane American's lips right now is, how did we let the judicial system in this country slip to this dismal level? How is it that a man as guilty as Michael Jackson can be set free to molest again?

I do not blame Jackson's attorney Thomas Mesereau Jr. he was doing his job. I do not blame the witnesses (except the mother of the accused), the Judge, or the Jury ( except the one who did not speak English).
I lay the brunt of the blame for Jackson's not guilty verdict square on the shoulders of Tom Sneddon, and the entire Santa Barbara County District Attorney office, and the investigators on the case. They tried to mount a case based on 'He said, She said' and never had a true case to start with. Had they stayed with the investigation in secret for a while they surely could have found solid evidence and built a stronger case. Now this young boy will be denied the justice due him. Let's remember though, it is not just this boy.

Two other children were paid off . I am sure there are more. I am also certain that this man (or what ever it is) will offend again. This time however, he will be more careful and the child will be less likely to survive !!!

Other than this pedophile the only others to blame in this case are you and me. Because we haven't demanded that those who make laws for us, take our children seriously. In the state of California, even though he would have done 'some' jail time, he would have been out in a couple years without the conspiracy count, which was improvable! WHAT?!? Molestation of a child is not enough to put you away until you are elderly or dead? Why, in this the greatest nation on Earth, do we treat pedophiles like drug dealers or shoplifters? Is ours a morally vacant society? Have we become so numbed by the crap we feed ourselves every day, reguarding the kook fringe in our society, that we have begun to condone attacks on our children?
Do you agree that our children are held to be the most precious, and most protected things in our lives? How is it then; more is not done to safeguard them? Why do 'WE THE PEOPLE' sit idly by and not do what's necessary to protect our kids?

I've got a proposition for any politician. If you want me to vote for you, base your campaign on seeing to it that every pedophile be given a life sentence or the death penalty. If you do, I am your man. I don't care if you want to be the President and you want to pass a bill making Popsicles our National Currency ! If you protect our kids you have my support.

I've heard the brain-dead argument that pedophiles should be given a chance for a new start. Just a little rehab and they can be normal again. A pedophile is a pedophile. They do not 'just get better'. A pedophile is not a candidate for rehabilitation. Once you cross that line and molest a child, there is no turning back. You need only to be kept away from free society indefinitely.
