Operation First Rain

The escalating violence between the Palestinians, Hamas, and Israel is an indication that Biblical prophecies are neigh to fruition.


In case you haven't had the time to dig for the 'other' news, deep under the stories of 'Rita' and 'Katrina'. I thought I'd help you with an important one.

On Friday the Hamas 'terrorists' who live merely to kill Israelis, were marching in the street and shooting guns in the air, breaking things and being the model citizens they usually are. It was another one of what Hamas claims to be 'Victory Parties'. It seems an 'RPG' that a couple of the nair-do-wells were dancing with caught enough friction to fire it into a truck filled with handgrenades. The explosion killed 15 members of Hamas and the witnesses claimed it was an attack from Israel. They immediately fired rockets into the Israeli town of Sderot.


In retaliation for the attacks, Sharon decided to set aside the [ahem] cease fire, and retaliate. On the anniversary of the prophet Muhammad completing his Hegira from Mecca to Medina to save his skin. The Israeli military launched air attacks on the southern Gaza town and simultaneously moved artillery cannons to the border. Israeli aircraft launched missiles at a car killing two members of Hamas.

Abbas has denounced the missile attack by Hamas and says that the street demonstrations should calm down. Yet he still will not denounce Hamas and force it to disband. Nor will he declare it to be an enemy of the peace plan. If this man has a clue, he is a very dangerous man! Another 'clueless' leader today was UN Sec. Kofi Annon. He said that he was "Alarmed' at the Israeli Palestinian violence escalation. Now that is funny.
Abbas is not in control of Hamas. That is what he wants the world to believe. The Palestinian Authority is not in control of Hamas. You should believe that too. [cough]

Since this retaliation was in Palestinian territory, Palestine says it was an unwarranted breech of the February 2005 cease fire agreement. The Palestinian Minister of the Interior Tawfiq Khoussa said of the Israeli aggression, it is a, "serious escalation that will lead to a new era of violence."
Ahh Mr. 'Towelfig', you don't say! A new era? What ever happened to the old era? I didn't know it had ended.

Israel has drafted a new plan of action called 'Operation First Rain'. It will consist of mortar fire from the launchers on the border, Airstrikes with both missiles and artillery fire. It will be followed by a ground incursion by the thousands of soldiers who are at the ready on the border.

The plan is still to be voted on by the full cabinet. But the likely hood that Israel will just go back in to the Gaza, gunz-a-blazing, and reclaim the land becomes even more possible Monday during the Likud vote. A party that Sharon is the leader of. If he is forced out, he may have to form a more moderate party to run in the upcoming elections.

If 'Operation First Rain' cannot make the voters believe that Sharon is truly a hardliner under that placating facade, he may lose to his, ex-leader, opponent Benjamin Netanyahu. If the ultra Conservative member of the Likud party is voted in to replace Sharon, we could see Netanyahu become the eleventh Prime Minister of Israel. I do hope this happens. I believe he will bring a no-nonsense approach back to the Palestinian conflict. It is possible that the whole thing could lead to what the Int.Min. called " a new era of violence", in a good way.

When you read about this or see it on CNN, NBC or CBS you will likely be told that Israel attacked an elementary school. 'How dare they target a school' will be their inference. They will hope you will have visions of armless babies being carried, through the streets of innocent blood, by burned and tattered teachers. This was not an innocent children's school. Only 17 innocent people had slight injuries. It was called the Al-Arkam school. Established by Sheik Ahmed Yassin to raise funds for Hamas. It served as a recruitment facility and housed families of suicide bombers. Yes, that is the same Yassin who founded Hamas! So don't let the 'perceivably sloppy reporting by the mainstream media confuse you. Israel did not target a school to kill babies. It was a sound military target.
