Ignorance attacks Toledo!

State protected Racism in America....isn't this 2005?

This past Saturday we saw a small group of White supremacists; members of the National Socialist Movement of Roanoke,Virginia who call themselves, "America's Nazi Party", march, under police protection, in a predominately black neighborhood in Toledo, Ohio, in protest of black gangs they say are harassing white residents. Am I the only one appalled that Christians praying or evangelizing in public brings legal opposition and restrictions, yet the City and State's police are used to protect a fascist, racist hate-group while they incite violence in a black neighborhood? Have we gone mad? The authors of the Constitution never intended the First Amendment to be used as kindling for race riots! It is time America define these groups as unlawful and treasonous. They should be regarded no differently than Al Qaeda!

Naturally they stirred up trouble.

Following the incident, a black resident said, "They let them [the Nazi group] come here and expect this not to happen?" Referring to the group of black gang members and residents who took to the streets in protest of the hate group and began showing off their own hate by destroying police vehicles and nearby buildings. Over 114 arrests were made, but none of the white supremacists went to jail because their march with police protection ended when the black groups advanced. "It's exactly what they wanted," said Mayor Jack Ford. Before he ignorantly proclaimed, "They do have a right to walk on the Toledo sidewalks," while confronting leaders of the mob and trying to settle them down. American citizen's rights to live in peace without racial provocation sanctioned by our government out-weighs the Neo-Nazi's rights to incite violence! The Nazis had 'NO' right to incite this riot. They were not simply walking down the sidewalk.

No rational person could have expected this weekend's 'Nazi' march was going to accomplish anything short of violence. I am just surprised that the 150 police officers there, were able to keep the peace as well as they did. Residual violence is certainly assured in the near future.

I believe some of the blame must be placed on the governing officials in that state. There should be laws that prohibit such displays of blatant hatred and gatherings who's sole purpose is to incite violence. Americans are so proud of their vast freedoms of expression and speech. However, the Constitution does not protect nor condone this kind of speech and expression. Incitation of violence is not only not protected, but should be unanimously prosecuted by all state and local governments.

Mankind has half-heartedly dealt with the issues of racial hatred and Xenophobic idiosyncrasies for as long as history can recall. There are hundreds of examples of hatred, suppression, violence and mass murder in the name of race and ethnicity. Afrocentrism ,Anti-Arabism, Anti-Semitism, Black supremacy, Bumiputra, Colonialism, Colorism, Cultural genocide, Ethnic cleansing, Eurocentrism, Genocide, Institutionalized Racism, Manifest Destiny, Model Minority, Nazism, Racial purity, Racial segregation, Redlining, Reverse discrimination or reverse racism such as Affirmative action, Scientific racism, Systemic racism, White flight, White man's burden, White supremacy, Yellow peril, and Zionism are just a few examples of man's ultimate baseless hatred for those who are different.

Hate Motivators

It is almost always the case, as with the Ohio riots, that a small group or faction creates or ignites the hostilities, then either vacates the scene or seeks to govern the victor. It's the same as with a Soccer game riot in Europe, or Australia. These riots are usually started by a small rowdy group of delinquents and like a forest fire they swell into hundreds. Some times riots can flow and react just as mindlessly and deliberately as a forest fire. With the sports riots, ignorance and carelessness are the kindling. With race riots, hate is the kindling. In Nazi Germany, South Africa, France, Japan, Rhodesia, Northern Ireland, U.S.S.R, and even in America racial wars are able to be traced back to a very small number of people using corruption and hatred to incite the murder and oppression of hundreds of millions of people. Oddly enough, racist hatred is not itself racist. Every race or creed of man has at one time, in some place been the victim of racial strife.
Christianity can stop Racism!

Racism could be the end of us as a species. So can't there be anything done to stop it? War and Governmental prosecution hasn't quashed racism. What known element can overcome it? First we must accurately define 'All' forms of racism properly as 'Hate' ! Then we must realize that hate is a spiritual element and can only be addressed by another, superior and opposite spiritual element. What overcomes hate? You guessed it.......Love. So what overcomes Racism, the ultimate hate? The ultimate love..... God's Love. The same love that Christ displayed for every man and woman on Earth is integrated in and accessible by the spirit of every true Christian. As a Christian, I strive daily to weed out any forms of baseless hatred toward my fellow man. When the majority of morally 'straight' people discover that a certain practice or speech they entertain is racially motivated, they work it out in their mind and use the foundation of Christ's love to temper it. Love, and no other element can overcome Hate.

One person or small group started these hate groups and racist wars. It may take only one person or a small group to initiate change. Don't discount your solo efforts, they may make all the difference needed to truly unite the races and save mankind.The idea that I could solve the age old question of how to stop racism sounds as if I have been hit'n the sauce in the pol-barn a bit too often. Yet, the truth is, it is easily answered..... and easily implemented. For two centuries now mankind has enjoyed the ability to draw on the Holy spirit to differentiate truth from lies, good from evil and hate from love. Those who reject the Holy spirit and despise the name of Christ, have no discernability when it comes to matters of the spirit. They work, at times intentionally, to thwart the efforts of peace.

Relying on secular or perverse ideologies to depose the spirit of hate, is like asking a mosquito how to stop the spread of malaria. Which leaves the onus on Christians to make the end of racism their focus. We know how to renew respect and find truth in the Holy Spirit. Teach your fellow man through your actions. Show the blind the way through faithful adherence to God's law. The number of people we save is dependant upon the number that see God work in our lives. You don't need to tell a Gang or Clan member that racism and hate is wrong. They are ignorant but they are not all imbeciles. Too many of us throw the Bible at them and stand back shaking our heads in disgust when they ignore it and count us among their enemies. Instead, try implementing the teachings of Christ and let them follow your example. Christ never took a hostage, and he never asked you to take any.

Make Hate illegal not Christianity !

Historically we never needed anti-riot laws and hate crime legislation to stop this cancer in our society. We only needed the Church to function openly and justly. Which brings me to two other enemies of love and peace that use racism to achieve their goals. They are Socialism and Liberalism. These two are first cousins and are not themselves a final destination but passageways to Communism. We already know how Communism feeds on hate and racism. They all depend, however, on the absence of Christianity.

As long as it remains legal for Christianity to be practiced in America and other free nations, Communism and other forms of racism will remain the underdog. Is it any wonder then that nations like America are being stripped, systematically of Judeo Christian rights by groups like the ACLU and PFAW? We are under attack by the people who seek to rule our nation with hate. As Christians we must become more active than ever in grass roots political issues. No hate crime legislation will change the minds of participants in events like the one in Ohio this Saturday. However, stopping the spread of this hate by prosecuting the leaders of these groups will help. We must quit pussy-footing around and classify groups like the KKK, ACLU, AUSCS, FMF and others like them in America as hate groups and enemies of the peace. The war on Terror should not concentrate solely on Muslim's hatred for western civilization. These groups should share Gitmo with Hamas, Al Qaeda, Hezbola, and the rest. Until American hate groups become illegal and the illegalization of Christian values stops, I am afraid Billy Graham will be right when he pointed out in 'The World Aflame', that Racism will be the murderer of the human race!
