Disgrace

Anti American Christians

I don't have time to really do this justice but I just wanted to tell you guys about something that really twisted my guts in a knot. Now, we have all heard of the God hating, America hating, angry Liberal war protesters. I have long believed (the only thing I agree with Michael Savage on) that these Liberals suffer from some kind of mental disorder. Some of the things that the ACLU, NARAL, Code Pink, Cindy Sheehan and Moveon.org crowd have done to defame and impugn our President and American Soldiers, embarrasses and enrages even the most refined persons among us, but this is inexcusable! Members of Westboro Baptist Church in Marblehead, Massachusetts have been spreading a warped version of Christianity and infecting the minds of some who would otherwise be good people.

This group truly believes that America is evil. Since their warped world view is based on their anti American agenda and hatered for homosexuals, they decided to picket the funerals of fallen American Soldiers. With signs like, "Don't pray for America", "God hates Fags" and "Thank God for IEDs" these mentally deranged nutjobs are chanting and screaming vile hatred at families; mothers, fathers, wives and children of fallen American heroes! These people do not represent the Christian community and they don't represent even a small fraction of the American people. God is not a God of hate. I don't know who they are worshiping but it certainly isn't Jehovah nor his son Jesus. I am ashamed of these people and I am outraged for these families! Some large gathering of true Christians needs to ascend on this Jim Jones/David Koresh church and talk some sense into them.

It seems that many states are already rushing to change and pass laws to ban such protests at soldiers' funerals. I am just waiting to hear from the first Al Frankin wanna be that says that such laws would be a violation of free speech. Come on, I know your out there, you dead heads lets all chant together, " Bush is a Nazi and kill all fags". Yeah, now the right and Left are together as one. Let's do another one, ready ? OK..
" No war for oil and God hates America!" . YeeeHaah !!!!! Now that's cohesion!
Now do you see what I mean when I say that America being divided is a good thing? There are the irrational nutjobs and there are the rational thinking among us. For us to be in agreement with the insane among us, we must assimilate to the wack jobs and abandon our morals. No, lets not struggle to get along and agree to disagree, that's the mantra of a loser. Let's continue to educate and deprogram the mangled masses and face head on the struggle that ends with victory and a strong America ! We can start by putting a stop to this kind of disgraceful conduct.

When I first heard this story, I was listening to NPR, and did not know what to make of it. Had no idea what the heck was going on. I thought at first, it might be war protesters, which I don't have a problem with, (war is usually not the answer, or atleast until all diplomatic solutions have expired, which in the current Iraq war is certainly NOT the case,)
but when I heard these people were protesting at the funerals of our fallen soldiers funerals because they think "God hates America", because it advocates homosexuality,
I literally got sick to my stomach. What an atrocity. I am a liberal and still do stand by the freedom of speech, but this is defamation. Absolutely deplorable defamation. These people should be kept at bay. Ken, you pretty much hit the nail on the head on this one. I couldn't have put any better if I were to write my own non partisan article. Great post, Ken, people from both sides of the isle need to know about this, as you so well titled it, "Disgrace".

Thanks David,
You are right, this is not a partisan thing and it certainly is not a Left or Right thing, it is a sanity thing. These people are truly mentally deranged. I am glad I could get an Amen from you David. I figured you were by far level headed enough to see the blatant defamation.

However, I am glad you did not disappoint me. I knew you would find something to say that I could shake my head at and smile.
You said, "war is usually not the answer, or at least until all diplomatic solutions have expired, which in the current Iraq war is certainly NOT the case."
War is quite so the answer in many cases. When it comes to the advancement of freedom over tyranny and it is necessary to defend one's self even pre-emptivly, war is very necessary. As for diplomatic solutions being exhausted, did you forget we received Congressional approval to oust Hussein. Did you forget that Bush went around the world trying to gain the approval of relevant and, I might argue, irrelevant nations? Just because some nations who were in bed with Saddam and stood to lose monetarily and diplomatically dissented, you can not argue that America should have backed off and allowed Saddam to continue to support the very kind of terrorism that killed 3 thousand people on 911.
O why must we go over this with every Left leaning person on Earth? Yet it still doesn't sink in? Well, really, I know why. It is because it is the cornerstone building block in the wall of denial you have constructed.
Let me go over a few vital points for you David, and then ask yourself, 'Can I disagree and continue to think the way I do if I don't franticly search for a crazy theory to dispute it or make up things and present them as facts?'
I don't think you can deny this. But I am sure you will try.

Ok, last month Israel's number one General Moshe Yaalon, the man who lead Israeli soldiers in Operation Iraqi Freedom, said that Saddam, "transferred the chemical agents from Iraq to Syria." Now, Georges Sada, the number two General from Saddam's regime, who was present when Saddam killed 80,000 Kurds with Mustard and Sarin gas over a ten year period, has said in his new book, ' Saddam's Secrets: How an Iraqi General Defied And Survived Saddam Hussein' that Saddam's airforce removed seats from a passenger plane and loaded it with prohibited WMD's and flew them to Syria before the war began. This was done during the months that went by while we waited for Saddam to comply with inspectors. He said in his book, "There are weapons of mass destruction gone out from Iraq to Syria, and they must be found and returned to safe hands," "I am confident they were taken over."

We know that there were scientist (who worked for the USSR during the Cold War developing nuclear weapons) that were sent to Iran to aid in the production of such weapons. We have proof that this same kind of aid was given to Saddam when Russia sold vast numbers of aircraft and weapons to Hussein. Regardless of whether or not you think the information was faulty, you have to admit Saddam brought the war on himself, and enemy nations are being bolstered by anti American nations like China and Russia. Saddam was defiant and cocky in his dealings with the UN and America. He violated 19 Security Council resolutions in 17 years. He signed a cease fire agreement in 1991. Yet continued to fire on coalition aircraft until the current war began. Many argue, correctly I might add, that Saddam was ostensively at war with the coalition forces since 8-2-1990 when he annexed Kuwait and dared the coalition forces to remove him. If you are at war with another nation and that nation continues hostilities after agreeing to a cease fire and refuses to comply with all other conditions of the agreement, the agreement is void and the cease fire fails to do what it was designed to do, bring an end to the war. Bush's mistake was not rushing into war ( we gave them the better part of 18 years to comply) it was seeking approval to start a new war. He should have declared that America would return to the battle front and enforce Saddam's compliance. He did not do that, he chose to trust the Intel he received from virtually every intelligence agency in the world. It wasn't actually a rash decision. The decision was made at a time when America was most vulnerable to attacks from people like Hussein; a man who has sponsored the very terror network we are at war with now and sponsored terror attacks here on our soil in 1993 and in 1995. Did we go to war because we had to? YES. Were we led to war dishonestly? NO. Will we succeed in Iraq? You had better hope we do!

So as for the comment you made, " ...war protesters, which I don't have a problem with.." How did you come by that position? Would it be safe to say it is at least partially thanks to the mainstream media and often from a favorite source of such called NPR?
If you honestly answer you would have to say yes.
This is why you should re-think your information gathering process.
Just before you made the above quote, you said, "When I first heard this story, I was listening to NPR, and did not know what to make of it. Had no idea what the heck was going on." Now, do you see my point. It is not your passion or your heart's intent that you need to change David, it is the kind of news source you derive your education from. You seem like a fair man, willing to give the other side a chance, you just need to reach out a little and make the choice to balance out your consumption of news and opinion. Besides, aren't our opinions shaped and refined by the information we feed on? If that's true, shouldn't you check to see what the other side has to offer and receive it with the same hospitable and objective manner in which you do the Left?
Rationally compare the facts. Such as: "Bush lied and rushed us to a war against a nation we were under no threat from" chanted by nearly 'All' of the leading lefties in the public's eye. Or your own comment, "until all diplomatic solutions have expired, which in the current Iraq war is certainly NOT the case..." with the proof I have laid out above. If you honestly compare the strength of both arguments, you cannot deny that you have been misled!
God Bless You too Bubba,
Keep set'n em up, I'll do my part. :)

Sorry, it seems to me you are a sick puppy to say that anyone who disagrees with your world view has a "mental disorder." Talk about hubris and a logical fallacy. I stopped reading at that point...not sure what your post was about. Who cares after reading your twisted intro. You sound like a fascist. Really you do, you are intolerant. Look into your soul and youll agree I'm right.

I sign as anonymous because I never want to cross paths with you ever. Ever.

My my, I am really sad. It seems Mr. Anonymous truthfully didn't read the post. Or else he would see that it was the fascists that I was attacking. Oh well, the most discouraging thing about that comment is that they will likely be voting in '08. God help us.

Oooh, you dirty rotten scoundrel...
Just kidding.
But seriously, I WILL give you FACTS of why the world hates us now that we invaded Iraq and diplomatic solutions were not reached, but I've been too damn busy writing and editing an article in response to your ginormous "Anti-Christianity" article that I don't have time to get back to you on this one quite yet. (Good work, by the way.)
But don't worry! I'll give you more to shake your head at and smile, my conservative friend! Just hold on!
I wait for you, ya know!
To be continued...
