Jobs Americans won't do

To start let's get one fact straight; there are no jobs in America that Americans won't do.The American government has audaciously refused to enforce the immigration laws it set forth. As a result employers have taken advantage of that by fearlessly paying illegals to do labor jobs. The wage they pay i.e. $4 instead of $12 is not a living wage in America. Legal Americans cannot be expected to take those kinds of jobs.


These illegals are not by and large our neighbors that we know and trust from down the street. These people are stealing our identity and living in temporary rent houses and taxpayer funded state housing. They are taking foodstamps and other governmental aids and scurrying back across the border. The trip back is free. They just commit a crime and our tax dollars go to deport them back home. The House deal will make it less attractive to come to this country illegally. If the House bill is adopted and not watered down the jobs will dry up and illegals will find their way back home, employers will be forced to pay a fair wage and Americans will go back to doing the jobs as they always have. By saying that Americans won't do certain jobs and expecting you to agree, the Left and mainstream media (sorry about the redundancy) is requiring you to admit that we are a lazy fat-cat nation who relies on another country to support and build this shining city on a hill.
That is a damnable LIE!

For example when The San Francisco Chronicle wanted to make their point about Americans not doing certain jobs, they reported that, "The National Association of Home Builders estimates that 20 percent of the construction workforce -- about 2.4 million people -- is foreign-born." They pulled the wool over your eyes using the phrase 'Foreign-Born'! Then they go on to admit that they have no idea how many are illegal but, just for your benefit, they guessed it was probably half. Again they are lumping legal Americans with illegal ones and trying to make the issue about race. If you are born in Pisco, Peru or Mexico City and you come to live in this country legally, YOU ARE AN AMERICAN just as sure as I am. Anyway, please forgive my digression. If only 10% of the construction industry is made up of illegals, how can you say that it is a job Americans won't do? Does that not mean 90% of construction workers are Americans? If I help nine men who are 5'1" sweep the floor, am I doing a job short men won't do? If I work a ten hour day but rest for one of those hours for lunch, am I a slacker who is always in the lunchroom?

The column goes on to say, "the House Alamo caucus, which in December passed a bill that is principled, impractical, and gratuitously cruel. It would turn being in the United States without a valid visa into an "aggravated" felony, make it a crime for good Samaritans and even family members to help illegal immigrants, and erect a 700-mile-long fence that would turn our Southern border into a DMZ."

Can you believe the clankers these guys must have? They start out by trying to make you feel like a lazy slob and the illegal alien look like a poor soul looking for a few of our crumbs to feed his family. The author for Slate failed to mention that the bill allows for a migrant worker program for those who want to work here and send the money back to their home, they simply must be documented. It allows for those who want to stay here to turn themselves in to be sent back to the border to apply for citizenship. Also they omit the fact that essentially all the House bill would do is enforce laws already on the books. He mentions the 700 mile wall and possible DMZ as if it were rude and antisocial of us to protect ourselves. This view is upside down. These half-baked Liberals (Bush and half of the Senate Republicans included) want you to believe night is day. They see American people as some collection of twits who will acquiesce when prodded in any direction, even if that direction is over a cliff. They are insisting that we leave our doors open and make a part of the family anyone who has the notion to come in. If these half-wits told you to run your personal household like this you would join me in saying, "Over my dead body"! Yet when it is done on a grander / national scale so many not only sit idly by, but with a twitch in their eye they trip over their own feet, fall face first into the mud and join the Liberal cause. Why? Is it the flashy suits and cool TV graphics, or is it the sexy / witty hollyweird stars who have you hypnotized? I just don't see how we can even have this debate! Aren't we expected to close our doors and only allow in the people we trust? Shouldn't we search out the closets and crawlspaces of our house and drag stowaway intruders outside? The answers are so simple, yet Liberalism, as usual, makes it complicated by blaming the victim and propping up the perp.
