The Leftist Vision pt II

John Lennon's Leftist Vision:
'Imagine'

Think what you wish but the left's vision of a one world government devoid of borders, individualism, religion and so much more is real. It was memorialized in the song so many think of when they remember the great icon of the left, John Lennon. It's called 'Imagine'.

Lennon, like much of us, had a vision of the world's future that is better than what we have. In some small way we all have such a vision. However Lennon's vision and Carl Marx's vision were very similar.
Let me walk you through this visionary's wish for mankind.

In the song Lennon calls the listener to imagine a leftist vision of utopia on Earth.
He begins bluntly by wishing away the foundations of our belief in God and heaven.

" Imagine there's no Heaven It's easy if you try No hell below us Above us only sky Imagine all the people Living for today "

How many people have sung along with John and never realized he was advocating Humanist ideology? Evil is so easily packaged in a sweet tune.
Humanists believe that if there is no heaven or hell nor God or devil, you have no authority bigger than government.

"Imagine there's no countries It isn't hard to do Nothing to kill or die for And no religion too Imagine all the people Living life in peace."


That's it again, no religion. But if you press them on it they will eventually admit that minus the Abrahamic religions, their ideology is largely uncontested.
But there's more to this part of the song. Again we go back to the vision of no borders. A complete one world government is their goal.

Now do you see what I mean when I say they seek to take away power from the state? When Roe vs. Wade took abortion away from the vote of the people in individual states and gave to the government total autonomy, they were struggling toward this one world government. Then they used the courts in Kelo vs. New London to remove you as the owner of your property and gave the ownership to the government. They are now using Congress to remove your ability to voice your dissent.

So a society devoid of the authority and silenced by it's own hand is a good thing?
Lennon was not finished yet.

"You may say that I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope someday you'll join us And the world will be as one"

Hmmm. nope, no one world government eluded to here.
He is right though, he was not the only one. Many more would like you to join them in their secularistic Marxist agenda to insert a one world government. Are some of your beliefs in line with the leftist ideology? If so, are you comfortable with the consequences of leftist victory and total implementation of their agenda?
If you aren't I urge you to do some soul searching and see if there are a few things in your vision you want to alter.

Well if you have been bitten by the 'Beetle Mania' bug, you probably know I am still not done with this song.

"Imagine no possessions I wonder if you can No need for greed or hunger A brotherhood of man Imagine all the people Sharing all the world "

Do those words just weigh on your heart and mind? Imagine you have no possessions! Yes please, if you consider yourself a leftist, ask yourself if a vision of a world where you have NO rights nor ownership of anything is your vision of a better world?


All people sharing the all the world? So your wife is mine, your food is mine and your clothes are mine. Your home is mine, your pictures of your kids are mine, your life is mine. You are your own God and I am mine. No one is responsible because everyone is responsible. Pedophiles and rapists, murderers and thieves they are no better than the Teachers, doctors, humanitarians and the children. Law abiders are equal to law breakers and only those who attempt to govern themselves by a code of morality are to be ostricized and oppressed.

Lennon finished by repeating the chorus :
"You may say that I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope someday you'll join us And the world will live as one"
It's a call to join in the leftist's hope for a world described in the meat of the song.

I hope this illustration and observation of a small portion of the leftist agenda has been helpful.
Lennon wrote what he wrote because he really believed it.
To me the breakdown of America and it's uniquely diverse unity is a bad thing. I can foresee nothing but pain, suffering, poverty and oppression if America crumbles. When the left sees America they wish to see it's borders disappear. They wish for America to be dissolved into a European or Middle East style society. A world without America is a better place to a true liberal.

If Liberals do not care enough to listen or they are sure of themselves and of their leaders, they must own up to preferring no America, no God and no possessions. You can't have it both ways. You cannot oppose John Lennon's 'Imagine' and support Leftists who heeded his call to join.
