Justice Clarence Thomas like him or love him!

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas is one of my all time favorite justices and a true Constitutional Conservative. watch the interview on 60 Mins then watch what Obama said about him below. When you are done, ask yourself if you oppose this man like Obama does. If not, you must admit Obama is the one on the wrong side!

Does Obama like Clarence Thomas?

Hi Ken,
It's David. Or Dave. Whatever you prefer. It's been a while.
I notice you have no replies here, so it's an honor to be the first.
I have some info that may shock you.
I don't think I will be voting for Obama in 2012. I will probably vote for a republican candidate (they had better be good!) or an independent such as Ron Paul, however I don't think he's running.
As I get older, my liberal friends start to annoy the crap out of me.
I'm leaning more to the right these days.
Bailing out every corporation that loses money is not the way to go.
I cannot believe that spending more money is the way to get out of debt.
Isn't that pretty much common sense? Jeez, Thomas Paine was a genius.
Anyways, you'd be proud of me. I'm now dating a beautiful, intelligent and sophisticated young lady who is - get this - a hardcore republican.
We're different in every way, but we have a great, respectful relationship.
It's kind of like if James Carville and what's her face can make it work, I guess anyone can, right?
Lol.
By the way, I started my own boot company. I know you Texans wear boots! I'd like to design a custom "Squamata" boot for you made of real python skin, just so we can piss off PETA. hehe.
I still haven't completely given myself to the darkside, but I'm starting to "get it" as you would probably say and lean a little further away from the left morons that are taking our money.
Anyways, I'll e-mail you later.
Keep up the good work.

You know I am proud of you but I told you a time or two that often people do mature away from liberalism and grow more Conservative as they gain more life experience. My favorite quote is (paraphrased)'If you are under 30 and not a Liberal, you have no heart, and if you are over 30 and are not a Conservative you have no brain'.

I liked you as a Liberal because I knew you were a thoughtful and introspective man. I knew that as soon as you matured, as long as you continued to think about the issues, you would move alittle further to the Right.

I am also VERY glad to hear you have a wonderful lady in your life, she sounds wonderful. I hope you do email once in a while, I love discussing tthings with you.

Congrats on the business too. (Hopefully Obama's radical attacks on the private sector won't be too hard on you)Yes we Texans love our boots. To have a pair of boots made in my site's name would be the greatest honor. I'd pay for my pair, of course, and I can't wait til I see what you come up with.

I am also currious of you 'Newly Matured' oppinion is on the 'Cap and Trade' legislation. You know I have been harping on that for 6 years now, so does it's inevitable fruition concern you abit? Does knowing we are soon to be regulated by the Feds in every aspect of our lives make you a little nervous?

Thanks for stopping by, you were right, I am very proud!

This is a blurb from an interesting article I found online.
After reading, you can check out the rest of the article by clicking the link (or copying & pasting) at the bottom.
The European Union started with a high-minded ecological goal: encouraging companies to cut their greenhouse gases by making them pay for each ton of carbon dioxide they emitted into the atmosphere.
But that plan unleashed a lobbying free-for-all that led politicians to dole out favors to various industries, undermining the environmental goals. Four years later, it is becoming clear that system has so far produced little noticeable benefit to the climate -- but generated a multibillion-dollar windfall for some of the Continent's biggest polluters.

As President-elect Barack Obama considers how to curb the gases that contribute to global warming, Europe's struggle with the problem illustrates the momentous task ahead for the United States.
