Acanthophis Gore: THE WEBSITE!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
All New Site Devoted to Global Warming!
The subject of Global Warming is an important one. I believe Global Warming supporters fit into two categories. One: They are complicitly participating in spreading propaganda to scare people into voting for them or their preferred candidate in hopes that evil, Socialist, unconstitutional restrictions can pass forcing America to give in totally to their agenda.
Or Two: They are so ignorant they won't open their eyes to the truth. They don't even consider the other argument. Blind! Just blind!

So, because it is so important and I foresee many more posts about it, I am introducing my new blog....... 'Acanthophis Gore'. Because he is as dangerous as a Death Adder and twice as cunning.

Set the new blog in your favorites and visit often.
Also, the site has no sidebar as of yet. One is on it's way soon so don't worry, I know it looks funny without it.

Global Brainwashing!

There is No Global Warming

There is no global warming. Period.
You can't find a real scientist anywhere in the world who can look you in the eye and, without hesitation, without clarification, without saying, kinda, mighta, sorta, if, and or but...say "yes, global warming is with us."
There is no evidence whatsoever to support such claims. Anyone who tells you that scientific research shows warming trends - be they teachers, news casters, Congressmen, Senators, Vice Presidents or Presidents - is wrong. There is no global warming.
Scientific research through U.S. Government satellite and balloon measurements shows that the temperature is actually cooling - very slightly - .037 degrees Celsius.
A little research into modern-day temperature trends bears this out. For example, in 1936 the Midwest of the United States experienced 49 consecutive days of temperatures over 90 degrees. There were another 49 consecutive days in 1955. But in 1992 there was only one day over 90 degrees and in 1997 only 5 days.
Because of modern science and improved equipment, this "cooling" trend has been most accurately documented over the past 18 years. Ironically, that's the same period of time the hysteria has grown over dire warnings of "warming."
Changes in global temperatures are natural. There is no proof that temperature is affected by anything that man has done.

Planned Parenthood Defeated in Partial Birth Abortion case!

WATCH 'ACLJ' VIDEO

After more than thirty-four years of Court-allowed abortion on demand—at any time, for any reason—the Supreme Court of the United States has upheld a ban on an abortion procedure. Hallelujah! In a 5-4 decision, the Court ruled that Congress’ 2003 ban on partial-birth abortion is constitutional, meaning that the gruesome procedure may no longer be practiced in the United States of America.

This is what we hoped and prayed for when we elected pro-life Americans who would nominate and confirm judicial nominees. This is what we hoped and prayed for when two new Supreme Court justices were added to the bench. Today, those years of hoping and praying have borne the best kind of fruit—the protection of defenseless lives.

Haditha Sgt. Sanick Dela Cruz: Charges Dropped!!

Sgt. Sanick Dela Cruz, 24, who had been charged with premeditated murder in the 11-19-05 Haditha incidence saw his charges dropped.
(Reuters) "Charges against him were dismissed on April 2 after the government balanced his low level of culpability in the alleged crime against the potential value of his testimony," a Marine Corps statement said.
There are still four other American heroes from Iraq charged with murder in the case. I will continue to pray for these brave soldiers and hope you will too.
My question is, when they are all released from prosecution, will these Leftist who have found them guilty in the court of popular opinion admit that these men deserve their apology?
I won't be holding my breath.

Virginia Tech Shooting

Federal Officials: At Least 32 Dead After Virginia Tech University Shooting

BLACKSBURG, Va. — At least 32 people are confirmed dead and at least another 21 are wounded after a shooting at Virginia Tech University Monday morning, federal law enforcement officials told FOX News.

Campus police said there was only one shooter and he is now dead. They are unsure if the shooter was a student and it was unclear if he was shot by police or took his own life.
"The university was struck today with a tragedy of monumental proportions," Virginia Tech President Charles Steger said during a press conference shortly after noon. "The university is shocked and horrified that this would befall our campus ... I cannot begin to convey my own personal sense of loss over this senselessness of such an incomprehensible and heinous act."
It was the deadliest campus shooting in U.S. history.
Steger said school officials are notifying victims' next of kin, and state police and the FBI are still investigating the various crime scenes. They are still trying to identify all the victims. The university will set up counseling centers for students and faculty.

FOXNews
It's a shot in the arm for the gun control crowd. They are sprinting this very moment to get their agenda rolling. You can count on them, the anti Gun lobby, to exploit this like Al Gore on a 100 degree day. They will flood the talk show circuit with stories of, "Guns killed my baby!" and the various others. This is definitely a tragedy of historic proportions which only gives gun control advocates more fodder for which to propagandize.

Titanic Sinks !!!!

1912

The RMS Titanic, billed as “unsinkable,” sinks into the icy waters of the North Atlantic after hitting an iceberg on its maiden voyage, killing 1,517 people.
The United Kingdom’s White Star Line built the Titanic to be the most luxurious cruise ship in the world. It was nearly 900 feet long and more than 100 feet high. The Titanic could reach speeds of 30 knots and was thought to be the world’s fastest ship. With its individualized watertight compartments, it was seen as virtually unsinkable.

On its first voyage, from Southampton, England, to New York with stops in Cherbourg, France, and Queenstown, Ireland, the Titanic was carrying 2,206 people, including a crew of 898. A relatively mild winter had produced a bumper crop of icebergs in the North Atlantic, but the crew, believing their ship was unsinkable, paid scant attention to warnings.
On the night of Sunday, April 14, other ships in the area reported icebergs by radio, but their messages were not delivered to the bridge or the captain of the Titanic. The iceberg that struck the ship was spotted at 11:40 p.m. Although a dead-on collision was avoided, the Titanic’s starboard side violently scraped the iceberg, ripping open six compartments. The ship’s design could withstand only four compartments flooding.
Minutes later, the crew radioed for help, sending out an SOS signal, the first time the new type of help signal was used. Ten minutes after midnight, the order for passengers to head for the lifeboats was given. Unfortunately, there were only lifeboats for about half of the people on board. Additionally, there had been no instruction or drills regarding such a procedure and general panic broke out on deck.
The survivors--those who successfully made it onto the lifeboats--were largely women who were traveling first class. In fact, the third-class passengers were not even allowed onto the deck until the first-class female passengers had abandoned the ship. White Star President Bruce Ismay jumped onto the last lifeboat though there were women and children still waiting to board.

At 2:20 a.m., the Titanic finally sank. Breaking in half, it plunged downward to the sea floor. Captain Edward Smith went down with the ship. The Carpathia arrived about an hour later and rescued the 705 people who made it onto the lifeboats. The people who were forced into the cold waters all perished.

Official blame for the tragedy was placed on the captain and bridge crew, all of whom had died. In the wake of the accident, significant safety-improvement measures were established, including a requirement that the number of lifeboats on board a ship reflect the entire number of passengers. The sinking of the Titanic has become a legendary story about the dangers of hubris.
In 1985, after many attempts over many years, divers were finally able to locate the wreckage of the Titanic on the floor of the North Atlantic.

Two Hundred and Sixty Four years ago today, the man who would form the future of American government with a pen, was born. On April 13th 1743 Thomas Jefferson began his magnificant life. He is the only one from that era, who opposed the Federalists, that I hold in such high regard! God bless him. All Americans, and many non Americans, owe a great deal of gratitude to this man.

Sharpton scorns Imus

The full version of this video is HERE

Sharpton is not the God he thinks he is!

Don Imus is a goofy old horse faced Leftist who cuts up and jokes about everyone, especially his own staff. I don't watch him because he bores me. However, I never had anything against him. What he said was stupid but should not get as much play in the media.

The reason I am writing about it is because Al Sharpton had to stick his nose in it. There are few more reprehensible soles on this Earth than Mr. Sharpton. Read about
Tawana Brawley
, look into his support and spokesmanship for LoanMax and the predatory lending practices they used to soak poor black folks. No one could forget the Crown Heights Riot and his referring to Jews as 'Diamond Merchants'. He started that riot that saw scores of blacks beat a Jewish man to death while screaming "Kill the Jew". Not a far cry from the chants Sharpton led the crowd in just prior to the bloodshed.

This is a snake who sits and berates a man who has humbled himself before the entire black race to apologize. I could care less about Imus' show, but when it comes to him as a man, I will think less of him if he doesn't tell Rev. Al where to stick that mic of his!

Imus No More

Is this Liberal a Bigot?

I had a great comment on the Don Imus issue. I was going to point out the hypocrisy of Al Sharpton and the double standard in black culture today. While writing I realized that in today's politically correct society it would not take long for someone to call me a bigot and a racist.
I was set to post it anyway when I found a great article from a 'Black' Sports columnist named Jason Whitlock.
They can call me a racist for saying the things he says, but what will they call him? I guess he is received in the same way Bill Cosby, Colon Powell, Clarence Thomas and Walter E. Williams are.
It is a great piece and you just MUST read it.

Imus isn’t the real bad guy
Instead of wasting time on irrelevant shock jock, black leaders need to be fighting a growing gangster culture.
By JASON WHITLOCK - Columnist

Thank you, Don Imus. You’ve given us (black people) an excuse to avoid our real problem.
You’ve given Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson another opportunity to pretend that the old fight, which is now the safe and lucrative fight, is still the most important fight in our push for true economic and social equality.
You’ve given Vivian Stringer and Rutgers the chance to hold a nationally televised recruiting celebration expertly disguised as a news conference to respond to your poor attempt at humor.
Thank you, Don Imus. You extended Black History Month to April, and we can once again wallow in victimhood, protest like it’s 1965 and delude ourselves into believing that fixing your hatred is more necessary than eradicating our self-hatred.
The bigots win again.
While we’re fixated on a bad joke cracked by an irrelevant, bad shock jock, I’m sure at least one of the marvelous young women on the Rutgers basketball team is somewhere snapping her fingers to the beat of 50 Cent’s or Snoop Dogg’s or Young Jeezy’s latest ode glorifying nappy-headed pimps and hos.
I ain’t saying Jesse, Al and Vivian are gold-diggas, but they don’t have the heart to mount a legitimate campaign against the real black-folk killas.
It is us. At this time, we are our own worst enemies. We have allowed our youths to buy into a culture (hip hop) that has been perverted, corrupted and overtaken by prison culture. The music, attitude and behavior expressed in this culture is anti-black, anti-education, demeaning, self-destructive, pro-drug dealing and violent.
Rather than confront this heinous enemy from within, we sit back and wait for someone like Imus to have a slip of the tongue and make the mistake of repeating the things we say about ourselves.
It’s embarrassing. Dave Chappelle was offered $50 million to make racially insensitive jokes about black and white people on TV. He was hailed as a genius. Black comedians routinely crack jokes about white and black people, and we all laugh out loud.
I’m no Don Imus apologist. He and his tiny companion Mike Lupica blasted me after I fell out with ESPN. Imus is a hack.
But, in my view, he didn’t do anything outside the norm for shock jocks and comedians. He also offered an apology. That should’ve been the end of this whole affair. Instead, it’s only the beginning. It’s an opportunity for Stringer, Jackson and Sharpton to step on victim platforms and elevate themselves and their agenda$.
I watched the Rutgers news conference and was ashamed.
Martin Luther King Jr. spoke for eight minutes in 1963 at the March on Washington. At the time, black people could be lynched and denied fundamental rights with little thought. With the comments of a talk-show host most of her players had never heard of before last week serving as her excuse, Vivian Stringer rambled on for 30 minutes about the amazing season her team had.
Somehow, we’re supposed to believe that the comments of a man with virtually no connection to the sports world ruined Rutgers’ wonderful season. Had a broadcaster with credibility and a platform in the sports world uttered the words Imus did, I could understand a level of outrage.
But an hourlong press conference over a man who has already apologized, already been suspended and is already insignificant is just plain intellectually dishonest. This is opportunism. This is a distraction.
In the grand scheme, Don Imus is no threat to us in general and no threat to black women in particular. If his words are so powerful and so destructive and must be rebuked so forcefully, then what should we do about the idiot rappers on BET, MTV and every black-owned radio station in the country who use words much more powerful and much more destructive?
I don’t listen or watch Imus’ show regularly. Has he at any point glorified selling crack cocaine to black women? Has he celebrated black men shooting each other randomly? Has he suggested in any way that it’s cool to be a baby-daddy rather than a husband and a parent? Does he tell his listeners that they’re suckers for pursuing education and that they’re selling out their race if they do?
When Imus does any of that, call me and I’ll get upset. Until then, he is what he is — a washed-up shock jock who is very easy to ignore when you’re not looking to be made a victim.
No. We all know where the real battleground is. We know that the gangsta rappers and their followers in the athletic world have far bigger platforms to negatively define us than some old white man with a bad radio show. There’s no money and lots of danger in that battle, so Jesse and Al are going to sit it out.

On March 16th 2007 an interfaith group (misguided church-goers) who had scheduled a 9 day walk from Northampton to Boston to raise awareness on Global Warming (GW) set out on their trek. Someone asked Rev. Fred Small if he knew that US Airlines had grounded more than 2000 flights due to the record snow fall. He pointed out that the Airline's cancellation had stirred the political waters. People were now saying that it was shameful for Al Gore to be showing his movie on GW to children in Jr High and High school while thousands of people were stranded in New England due to record snow storms. like a true.....storm trooper Rev. Small said, ""I tell them: 'we walk.'"

So how did they fair? "It was windy and cold. I was walking on the front of the line and I felt like I was bow of a ship with the wind just coming into my face," said the Rev. Margaret Bullitt-Jonas.It was a sight, a group of totally sold out Global Warming nutburgers walking on snow covered sidewalks and through three feet of the fluffy white in some places. Proving our point in a most satiric fashion.

"Nobody is interested in solutions if they don't think there's a problem. Given that starting point, I believe it is appropriate to have an over-representation of factual presentations on how dangerous (global warming) is." -- Al Gore

We switched from our standard light bulbs to the new compact fluorescent spiral thing last summer. We were told that these things were more environmentally friendly (I hate that catch phrase) and they would save great amounts of energy. Of course when our first bill came there was no change. No savings were ever evident and four months later they had all expired.

Now the enviro-nazis want to force you to change to these expensive suckers. We bought 16 bulbs at $2.50 a piece. When they burned out we bought two eight pack bulbs, made possible by good 'ol Edison, for $5.00 total.
You do the math. We never saw enough savings to offset the 40 bucks we spent.

We didn't notice a savings because compared to all of the other energy users in our home, light bulbs comprise a very small percentage. We leave our light off most of the day, but the AC or Heat is on for the majority of the time.

But low energy costs are not the only lie being peddled by these Global Warming propagandists.
The American Spectator had a great article on the issue.
Believe me it's worth the read.

Al Gore says the debate on Global Warming is over. Yet every day scientific findings contradict prior findings. The Bible however has remained unchanged. According to the widely accepted theory of the big bang, the universe is supposed to still be expanding.
But astronomers studying supernovas have found evidence that the expansion of the universe is actually accelerating—the opposite of what was predicted! Evolutionary scientists admit that this could have enormous ramifications on theories of cosmic evolution. They were hoping they’d developed a theory of everything—but once again, they’re frustrated.

Have you ever noticed that evolutionists and Global Warming prostitutes are so sure that they have the answers to how everything began and how it will end and that the Bible has to be wrong—yet every time a new discovery is made, it’s the evolutionists who have to change their theories! The only true thing about their evolutionary theories is that whatever they believe to be truth today, seems to change tomorrow!

But God’s Word NEVER changes. It’s NOT subject to modification every couple of years when a new discovery is made about the universe. If you really want to have the absolute, unchanging account of everything, go to the book of Genesis.

Dome Sweet Dome

Scientologist John Travolta speaking at the British premiere of his movie, Wild Hogs. Expressed his solution for Global Warming: "It is a very valid issue, I'm wondering if we need to think about other planets and dome cities. "Everyone can do their bit. But I don't know if it's not too late already. We have to think about alternative methods of fuel. I'm probably not the best candidate to ask about global warming because I fly jets. I use them as a business tool though, as others do. I think it's part of this industry – otherwise I couldn't be here doing this and I wouldn't be here now."
Oh, no John, that's ok. You and your RICH and wealthy Liberal nutburgers who join cultic religions and fly around lecturing others about Global Warming are exempt from environmental restrictions. You're special.
Did he suggest we dome our cities or move to another planet? If I had any respect for him I would be losing most of it right now. What a watermelon head! I wonder which planet he wants to move to....perhaps we could arange for him to scout it out for us.
Flying is just a business tool eh? Last year John logged more than 35,000 miles in one of his five jets. His Boeing 707 took him to Qantas, Los Angeles, Auckland, Sydney, Singapore, Tokyo, London, Paris and New York and back to his home in Florida.
Combine that and the energy use in his Airstrip mansion alone and his 'Carbon Footprint' is hundreds of times that of most Americans.
But John is not the only one who thinks Global Climate change is everyone elses' responsibility.
Gore's Mansion

"The average household in America consumes 10,656 kilowatt-hours (kWh) a year, according to the Department of Energy. In 2006, Gore devoured nearly 221,000 kWh-more than 20 times the national average,"

"Gore paid nearly $30,000 in combined electricity and natural gas bills for his Nashville estate in 2006, the Tennessee Center for Policy Research said.

Al Gore says 2006 will see a new record in Hurricanes and that they will be even more intense than before.

Yet absolutely no Hurricanes approached America. As a matter of fact 2006 was the quietest Hurricane season on record.

Al Gore reported in his film that the Center for Science and Policy report predicts sealevels would rise 20 ft in 80 years due to arctic Ice Sheets melting.

But the report actually said it would be more like 3 feet. Then the Center for Science and Policy changed their story and claimed sea levels will actually only rise 17 inches in 80 to 100 years not 3 ft like was reported earlier.Actually, scientific data un-refuted by Gore and his scientists, says that thickening ice in the Antarctic, in fact, is just about offsetting the meltwater being released from the edges of the Greenland ice sheet—which has also been thickening in its center. This leaves us with a global warming sea level gain of about 1.8 millimeters per year—or 4 inches per century. The rise has remained constant during the 20th century despite the moderate 0.6 degree C warming of the planet.

Did you follow that? Gore says that the Antarctic is melting and will cause the sea to rise by 20 ft. Though the very people he cited not only said it would be three not twenty feet but changed their story completely by changing the number to 17 inches. However Gore and his buddies at the CFSP ignore real scientific data that says the sea levels rise an average of 4 inches per century, even when it became hotter. Ice sheets melt while other parts of the Antarctic adds layers of ice.the bottom line. The Earth's climate changes and cooling/warming cycles are normal. Not only are they normal but warming trends are vital to agriculture, forest and animal health.

Acanthophis Gore pt VIII

TWENTY QUESTIONS FOR GLOBAL WARMING ALARMISTS

Compiled from various sources
(1) The earth has warmed and cooled numerous times in the past and many of those temperature variations have been much greater than anything we've experienced in recent history. So, since we humans do not understand how those temperature swings occurred, how can we be sure that the very mild warming we've seen so far hasn't been caused by normal changes in our climate? Are you willing to gamble our economy on it?

(2) If man's activity is responsible for the roughly one degree increase in temperature over the last century, then why did the global temperatures drop from 1940 to 1975 even though mankind's production of CO2 went up during that period?

(3) We can't accurately predict whether it is going to rain or shine one week from now. We can't accurately predict the weather one year from now (remember the devastating hurricanes that were predicted for 2006?). And in both cases, it is extremely difficult to prove causation. What makes you think Al Gore knows what the weather will be like in 2107? (This is actually understated -- climate is much harder to predict than the weather).

(4) Mars and other planets have also been experiencing global warming. Since man can't be a factor on all of these other planets, doesn't it make sense that a common factor -- perhaps the sun -- might be to blame?

(5) In the 1970's, the consensus among environmentalists was about global COOLING. Now it turns out that was simply a period of global temperatures getting cooler. So -- where did we go wrong in the 1970's and how do we know that we're not making the same mistake today?

(6) Global warming alarmists like to tell you that there is a “scientific consensus”. But more than 17,200 scientists have signed a statement disagreeing with popular global warming theory. And, forgive my pun, they are only the tip of the iceberg. Every week more scientists come forward to express their skepticism. How can anyone credibly claim that there are no real scientists and climatologists that have objected to global warming theology? How can anyone credibly claim that there is consensus on this issue? And what do poll results have to do with science anyway?

(7) You cannot separate proposed solutions from this debate. Even if mankind was responsible for global warming, how would the solutions being offered (like Kyoto or carbon credit schemes) fix the problem? Big developing countries like India and China are exempt from Kyoto and unlikely to sign any deal that ruins their economy. Europe isn't anywhere near to meeting its Kyoto goals. Even backers of Kyoto admit that Kyoto won't solve the problem even if all of its targets are met. To put it another way, if a doctor told you that you had an incurable disease, would you still diet and exercise anyway?

(8) Bill Bryson, a believer of global warming, wrote in his book, “Short History of Nearly Everything” that "for most of its history until fairly recent times, the general pattern was for the earth to be hot with no permanent ice anywhere". Doesn't that seem to suggest that despite everything we hear about the “record high temperatures”, the global temperature is quite a bit cooler than it has been throughout much of earth's history?

(9) Carl Zimmer noted in Discover Magazine that there were periods in the earth's history that much higher levels of CO2 but DID NOT have significantly higher temperatures. Doesn't this cast doubt on the relationship between CO2 levels and the earth's temperature?

(10) If, in geologic history, rises in CO2 have resulted in rises in global temperature, then why does the scientific evidence indicate that the rise in CO2 levels tends to FOLLOW the rise in temperatures by between 600 and 1,000 years?

(11) Scientists often point out that there seems to be a much closer relationship between the earth's temperature and solar activity. Doesn't that seem to strongly suggest that the sun, not mankind, is more likely responsible?

(12) Why do the global warming faithful point to the Mount Kilimanjaro glacier as evidence of global warming when most of the melting occurred before global warming could have been a factor?

(13) Why do the global warming faithful point to declines in polar bear populations when, according to the actual science, polar bear populations are between four and five times larger than they were in the 1950s.

(14) Why did global warming scientists at one time try to pass off the now discredited “hockey stick” graph as objective science?

(15) Global warming theology predicts that temperatures in the stratosphere will rise at a much faster rate than surface temperatures. Why is the exact opposite taking place?

(16) If global warming is rapidly melting the ice caps, why is the Antarctic ice sheet thickening (as was reported in the journal Science)?

(17) Why does Al Gore find it necessary to describe Manhattan being deluged under 20 feet of water, when the IPCC's third report mentioned a top level during the time period discussed of 3 feet sea level rise, the fourth report revised it to 17 inches and, in order to get that figure, they had to deliberately select a variability trough as the starting point and a variability peak as an end-point or else the actual trends would indicate a maximum rise of about the same levels that have been experienced since the Little Ice Age came to an end?

(18) Why do liberals refuse to acknowledge that wealth -- not more socialism -- is the cure for poverty and pollution? Countries with good economies tend to have fewer people in poverty and tend to have cleaner air and water.

(19) If people like Al Gore really believe their own hype and think it is necessary to lecture the rest of us how to live, why can't they get by on less than 20 times the amount of energy that a regular family uses? Why does John Travolta lecture us but refuses to give up his five private jets? I mean, if they really believe the world is about to end, shouldn't they be making the greatest sacrifices to try to save it?

(20) Why do leftists use the phrase “the stakes are high” every time they are about to do something utterly destructive?
